Size Guidelines

The Randolph Custom Wool Blazer is our most traditional tailored blazer, made for rowing clubs, schools, universities, alumni groups, hospitality teams, formal events, tours, and brands that want the depth and polish of real wool. Choose a lighter all-season cloth or a dense winter-weight fabric, then shape the blazer around your colors, stripes, crest, piping, lining, fit, and individual measurements.

Why Choose the Randolph?

  • The richest fabric in the range: Wool gives the blazer natural depth, structure, and a more refined finish than printed twill or cotton.
  • Two seasonal weights: Choose a versatile all-season cloth or a denser winter fabric with greater warmth and presence.
  • Made from scratch: Every blazer is individually cut and tailored rather than adapted from an off-the-rack jacket.
  • Built around your group: Mix Slim, Classic, and Mighty fits, with individual sleeve and back lengths included.
  • Traditional without being predictable: Create a restrained club blazer, a striped rowing classic, or something far more distinctive.
  • Free design support: Start with an old blazer, club crest, reference image, fabric direction, or rough concept.

Fabric and Feel

Both Randolph fabrics are woven from wool and have the natural texture, drape, and visual depth associated with traditional tailoring.

  • All-Season Wool: a soft, breathable wool with enough structure to hold a clean blazer shape without feeling overly heavy. It drapes naturally, feels comfortable across a wider range of temperatures, and works well for regular club, hospitality, and event use. Our top recommendation for the most versatile Randolph.
  • Winter-Weight Wool: a dense, substantial cloth with greater warmth, firmness, and visual presence. It creates a more structured silhouette and feels particularly well suited to colder climates, winter events, and formal heritage styling.

Which Wool Should You Choose?

Choose All-Season Wool if the blazer will be worn across different seasons, indoors and outdoors, or for regular events and club use.

Choose Winter-Weight Wool if warmth, structure, and a more imposing traditional finish matter most.

Both options feel more natural and refined than printed synthetic fabrics. Wool also has subtle surface variation and depth, so solid colors and stripes tend to feel richer and less flat.

Fit and Tailoring Options

The Randolph is available in Slim, Classic, and Mighty fits, with men’s and women’s sizing options that can be mixed within the same group order.

  • Slim fit: closer through the chest and waist for a sharper tailored silhouette.
  • Classic fit: more room through the body for a traditional club blazer shape.
  • Mighty fit: additional room through the chest, waist, shoulders, and upper arms.

Individual sleeve and back lengths are included, allowing each blazer to be adjusted more precisely than a standard ready-to-wear jacket. Full bespoke tailoring is also available where required.

Available tailoring options include:

  • Single- or double-breasted styling
  • Notch, peak, or shawl lapels
  • Patch, flap, jetted, or ticket pockets
  • Side, center, or no-vent construction
  • Contrast piping and edge details
  • Custom linings and internal artwork
  • Embroidered crests, names, monograms, and insignia
  • Metal, horn-effect, branded, or custom buttons
  • Custom labels, trims, and finishing details
  • Mixed fits and sizes within the same order

Create a Blazer With Heritage

The Randolph lends itself naturally to club colors, traditional stripes, crest embroidery, metal buttons, and quietly confident internal details. It can also be pushed beyond convention with bold piping, unusual lining artwork, or unexpected color combinations.

You can customize:

  • Solid colors, stripes, and woven color combinations
  • Lapel shape, width, and contrast details
  • Piping around lapels, pockets, cuffs, and edges
  • Pocket style and placement
  • Embroidered crests, logos, text, and individual names
  • Custom printed linings
  • Button styles and finishes
  • Contrast stitching and internal trims
  • Personalized labels and monograms
  • Individual details across blazers within the same order

Because every Randolph is tailored from scratch, the finished blazer is not restricted by stock colors, standard lengths, or fixed trim combinations.

Best Suited To

The Randolph is particularly well suited to rowing clubs, schools, universities, alumni groups, formal hospitality teams, commemorative events, tours, heritage brands, and organizations that want a custom blazer with genuine tailoring character and long-term relevance.

Consider Another Option If...

Choose the Hollands Custom Club Blazer if you want sharper printed stripes, brighter patterns, or a lighter cotton or twill fabric.

Choose the Pembroke Everyday Blazer if you want a softer, more understated jacket for regular business, hospitality, or uniform use.

Choose the Marlow Custom Printed Blazer if your priority is a bold all-over graphic design rather than traditional wool tailoring.
